I started smoking at 15. By the time I got out of high school, I was smoking a pack a day and attempting to hide it from my mother. Like every kid, I eventually got caught.

In college, every one smoked, so it seemed like no big deal. It was nothing to burn up a pack and then some at a party. Every morning, I woke up feeling like crap. My allergies were awful, and I couldn’t hardly breathe going up a flight of stairs. By the time I turned 24, I had taken some big steps in improving my health, including losing 50lbs. It made a big difference, but try as I might, I couldn’t quit smoking.

I had seen plenty of internet ads for e-cigs, but never thought they were legit. Finally, having given up on quitting via traditional methods, I headed to a local mall where I heard e-cigs were sold. I spent a pretty penny on a single RN4081 battery and atty. I quit 5 days later and haven’t touched a cigarette since. Although, I have graduated to bigger and better devices.

Since that RN4081, I’ve owned a 510 kit, eGo, Indulgence, Silver Bullet, 3 GLV’s, A WetBox, Reo Grand, Tekk Mod, a MonkeyBoxx, and about a million attys. I cherish and enjoy each of those items/devices more than I ever did a cigarette. April 19 will mark my one year tobacco free mark.

Along the way, I became a reviewer and then a VapeTV host. It’s been one of the most rewarding things I have done in my entire life. Knowing that people look to my opinion and knowledge for guidance in their purchasing dollar or for tips on becoming better at vaping means the world to me. VapeFest really hammered home just how much of an influence I’ve had on vapers across the US. I cherish the relationships I have made and the respect I have received across the vaping community.
